Welcome to Curtin University Malaysia!
Curtin University is ranked in the top one per cent of universities worldwide in the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2017. It is ranked 20th in the world for universities under the age of 50 in the QS World University Rankings 2019 and has received a five star overall excellence rating in the QS Stars University Ratings 2017.
Curtin University’s engineering and science programmes are recognised and accredited by professional bodies such as Engineering Accreditation Council Malaysia (EAC), Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), Engineers Australia (EA), Institution of Chemical Engineers UK, Australian Computer Society (ACS), Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, Society of Exploration Geophysicists (USA), European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers, Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and Geological Society of Australia.
Also, Curtin University is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for all the business programmes.
The mission of the Curtin Malaysia Graduate School is to promote, advance and support graduate education, through both taught and research programmes, and to enhance the graduate student experience. To fulfil this mission, the Graduate School works in close collaboration with the university management, the academic units and the graduate students. The Graduate School assumes academic leadership for graduate education at Curtin Sarawak and provides oversight for policies and standards for all the graduate programmes at the Sarawak campus. It provides general administrative support for staff and students in relation to the graduate programmes, service to prospective students, and advocacy for graduate education and graduate students both on campus and in the profession at large.
