Message from the Director of Curtin Malaysia Graduate School

Welcome to Curtin University Malaysia!

Curtin University is ranked in the top one per cent of universities worldwide in the highly regarded Academic Ranking of World Universities 2020. It is ranked 17th in the world for universities under the age of 50 in the QS World University Rankings 2021 and 34th in the world for universities under the age of 50 in Times Higher Education’s World University Ranking 2020.

Curtin University’s engineering and science programmes are recognised and accredited by professional bodies such as Engineering Accreditation Council Malaysia (EAC), Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), Engineers Australia (EA), The Institution of Chemical Engineers UK, Australian Computer Society (ACS), Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, Society of Exploration Geophysicists (USA), European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers, Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and Geological Society of Australia. Meanwhile, Curtin University’s business programmes are accredited by  the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Our higher degree by research (MPhil and PhD) programmes are not only Australian degrees but also fully-accredited by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

The role of Curtin Malaysia Graduate School (CMGS) is to administer, monitor and support the Higher Degree by Research Students’ journey covering admission, scholarship, progression and completion.
