Curtin Malaysia Postgraduate Research Scholarship (CMPRS) 2025

CMPRS 2025 is now open and calling for applications.

PhD Merit scholarship
- This scholarship covers full tuition fee waiver and a tax-free monthly stipend for a maximum of three years.
- Domestic and international student applicants with CGPA >3.5 and solid track records in research are eligible to apply.
- Applicants with first-class honours or equivalent can apply for a direct entry to PhD.
MPhil Full Tuition Fee Waiver Scholarship
- This special scholarship covers a full tuition fee waiver for a maximum of two years.
- Areas prioritised include:
  - Engineering & Science: Cybersecurity, Sustainable Energy, Applied Geology, and Mechatronics/Robotics.
  - Business: Sustainable Business and Tourism and Accounting.
  - Humanities & Health Sciences: Health and Well-Being.
Other Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Scholarships
- Full tuition fee waiver supported by external grants
  - Full tuition fee waiver will be automatically awarded to any eligible student/applicant who is affiliated to externally funded grants.
- Full/Partial MPhil scholarships supported by internal grants
  - Curtin University Malaysia academic staff with internally awarded research grants for projects of at least two years may apply for a full/partial MPhil scholarship for any eligible student applicant.
- Partial MPhil/PhD scholarships
  - A partial scholarship with a special tuition fee waiver rate can be considered for applicants who successfully meet Curtin University Malaysia’s MPhil/PhD entry requirements.
